Well, the votes are in! We were inundated and overwhelmed by the amount of votes we received by you, patients all over Australia, and want to thank everyone that took part – from the voters to all of the clinics and practitioners who helped us promote the initiative of Australia’s Favourite Injectors.
There were definitely a few injectors who were front runners from the start, but there were also a few surprise results with some practitioners getting the votes slowly but surely to take the lead towards the end. We want to thank each and every person who voted to make this truly represent who we think are Australia’s Favourite Injectors.
Without further ado, here are the results.

What a JOKE, an Albury injector has a few rural/ regional people to work with whilst an injector from Melbourne has a pool 4.5 million population but doesn’t get the Chocolates nor a mention, looks like its a rigged campaign and competition. Looks like you need to advertise with this publication to gain a vote. Well Played Trish, what a disgrace.
Hiya
The competition we ran was purely on votes – highest number of votes wins the prize! May not be perfect, but it’s the mode we used to find “Australia’s FAVOURITE injector”. Believe me I was surprised myself that some fantastic injectors weren’t voted for – but we could only reach as far as we could, it’s up to businesses to get clients to vote for them.
Also letting you know NONE of the winners ‘advertise’ with us. This was just something we thought would be fun for people to vote for their favourite injector.
By the way – no chocolates were given out – too many calories !
Trish
Hey, i just saw your post Kristy and I’m also in Melbourne. I totally agree that this competition has no merit and Alex P from Albury should hang her name in shame for receiving this ticket and prize. I will not be advertising with Trish Hammond nor this web site.
Hi
Alex who got the most votes should stand high and proud as it was her clients voting for her in this award – that’s why she won. The winners were purely the ones who got the most number of votes. I re-iterate that NONE of the winners ‘advertise’ with us – we have set them up a complimentary feature as a well done for winning.
Just wondering, did you actually vote?
Trish
I’m just so disappointed that a few people try to bring down what was supposed to be a fun way of highlighting our amazing Australian injectors. There has been such negative publicity in the media about dodgy practitioners so we wanted to highlight, celebrate and recognise our injectors in the industry. Not everyone can win and with the huge number of injectors who received votes, there’s no way we could recognise each and every one of them. The votes were IN NO WAY manipulated or rigged and were purely based on the votes we received from the injector’s patients. We spent time and energy counting each and every vote and announced the winners. Each and every one of the winners has a loyal following of patients for a reason. They are great injectors! None of the winners had a listing on the website before the competition! If you have any better ways of running this for next year we’d be happy to hear it. You can email us at info@plasticsurgeryhub.com.au.
I’ve just noticed this rant on social media and it doesn’t play out well for this plasticsurgeryhub, there must be some bias in this decision making by this web site to award an Albury injector as opposed to the market share that Melbourne holds. It seems farcical and I agree with the previous comments, well done if this injector honestly deserves the award but Alex who. Going on this award, I would RED flag this for any other injector participating in this competition if they run it next year. They should publish the votes and who actually did this count, all in house I would assume. I’ve been injecting in Geelong for many years and have a large pool of patients that voted and joined this merry go round competition but to see it awarded to an Albury part time injector is ridiculous. I feel used by this company by spruiking your site through our data base.
Hi Hayley
I totally understand what you’re saying. From what I now know, “Alex” actually injects at other clinics in Melbourne too. As she got the most votes we are presuming she encouraged her patients to vote for her (the whole purpose of the competition) and she got the most number of votes. The whole process was purely number of votes – which was stipulated at the very beginning.
Sorry you feel the way you do.
Trish
Will this be run in 2019 ? 🙂
