Dr. Tim Papadopoulos recently presented at the 18th Advanced Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (AAPS) Workshop 2014 held at Crown Conference Centre in Melbourne in February.
As a certified Plastic Surgeon, an International Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Tim’s attendance and presentation on procedures involved in Body Contouring was, without a doubt, a standout for us with his magnitude and depth of knowledge. Always keeping himself up to date with the latest procedures, Dr. Tim continually attends conferences and visits and observes certified surgeons at leading hospitals and clinics all over the US, Europe, and South America.
His talk left a remarkable impression on us and we decided to go on and do a little research on this remarkable surgeon and his career;
Dr. Tim founded Cosmetic Culture – a plastic surgery medical spa and laser centre located in Pyrmont, Lane Cove and Penrith, in which he currently serves as a Medical Director. He also has regular hospital appointments at Westmead Private Hospital, Hunters Hill Private Hospital and Nepean Private Hospital.
As a Surgery Educator/Trainer, Dr. Tim was a Faculty Member for the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in April 2013 in New York where he presented a course about Body Contouring and Lipoabdominoplasty and has been asked back to San Francisco in April 2014 to give a further presentation.
Furthermore, Dr. Tim is considered as one of a select group of surgeons in Australia who has dual diplomate with subspecialty training. In 1983, he graduated with distinctions in Science from Monash University prior to his completion of his MBBS medical studies in 1987 at the Alfred Hospital. He then gained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 1998 at Austin and Repatriation Medical Centre for his postgraduate studies in General Surgery. In 2002, he continued his training in Sydney where he obtained the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as his completion in his subspecialty training, attaining Fellowships in both hand surgery and Cosmetic Surgery.
He specialises in cosmetic enhancement through surgery, training, seminars, industry news, management, hosting events with 250+ in attendance, and product development. He has also published writings and videos to teach and share his knowledge through blogging and vlogging.

I want to ensure that the surgery is ultimately worth it for the patient.” Once a patient has decided to undergo a procedure, Dr. Tim assure them that he will be dedicated to achieving the results they desire. “In that way, I’m a perfectionist. Surgery is never complete until the results are the absolute best they can be.”
If ever we have researched a list of achievements in the medical field Dr. Tim is definitely up there with the best. His accolades to the cosmetic and plastic surgery industry have placed him among some of the best surgeons not just in Australia but internationally as well.
