It is a cosmetic surgical procedure to revise or correct the aesthetic appearance of the breast resulting from the following: ruptured implants, unsatisfactory result of a breast augmentation, infection, implants that have rippled, rubbed or shifted, wrong implant size, hardening of implants, leakage of silicone implant, and deflation of saline implants.
