I was lucky enough to be invited to Clear Complexion’s Ultraformer launch in Sydney a couple of weeks ago. I am already a huge fan of the Ultraformer III and so was excited to see it being introduced into all six of the Clear Complexion Clinics across Canberra and Sydney. This is awesome news for not just their existing patients, but for making the Ultraformer III more accessible in more locations for patients across the country.
More About Clear Complexions
In case you haven’t already heard about her, Clear Complexions founder Suzie Hoitink started her first clinic with just herself and her sister-in-law, both nurses, and built her company to a number of clinics existing today. Having suffered from acne and poor skin herself, Suzie’s drive to provide solutions to problematic skin is personal. Her background working for a cosmetic surgeon gave her the insight that triggered her career change. Clear Complexions treat everyday skin conditions such as sun damage, rosacea, acne wrinkles and more, with technology ranging from peels, to Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), through to fractionated lasers.
Why the Ultraformer III?
Suzie says she is constantly researching different technology that targets tightening and lifting ageing skin. “My never ending quest to deliver the latest in innovation has led me to bring the brand new Ultraformer III into the clinics. Until now, radio frequency devices like the Thermage which we have had in the clinics for the last 5 years, have delivered great results for our clients. And, both Thermage and Ultraformer III deliver heat energy into the skin to stimulate collagen remodelling. The main difference, and the reason for my unchecked enthusiasm, is in Ultraformers’ immediate effect on the skin, the deeper penetration and overall better client experience – shorter treatment time, no downtime and a far more comfortable experience…I promise!!
“We have been trialling the Ultraformer III for the last four months and we have put it through its paces. The real benefit is being able to target specific sagging areas, rather than the whole face or neck, significantly reducing the cost to you, the client. If I am to compare the two though, a face/upper neck treatment for Thermage is just under $3000 and a comparative treatment with Ultraformer III will be $1950.”
The Ultraformer III uses ultrasound energy to target the SMAS layer of the skin, and triggers a tightening of the skin by stimulating new collagen growth. Aimed at those who are not quite ready for surgery but want to reduce some fine lines and wrinkles, or get more of a contoured appearance in certain areas.
The Launch
The thing I love about Clear Complexions is that all of their practitioners are medically trained and experienced doctors and nurses. This definitely gives you a sense of being in good hands. As Suzie says, “They’re trained to understand the science of skin, the importance of ongoing assessment and delivering a high level of care and support to our clients. They are also highly skilled in performing treatments using the latest medical grade equipment.”
All of us at the launch had either had the Ultraformer III treatment or were looking forward to having it! All of us were in agreeance about it’s effectiveness and impressive results.
The Ultraformer III is suitable for almost any area on your body including:

Hello Trish which would be the preferred most effective treatment Belkyra or ultra forma main focus is on my neck but have been advised to have belkyra treatment on neck and some fillers on jawline and Botox on forehead
Hi Angela
I would make an appointment with a clinic and ask them about your options. The best people to advise you on what you would need would be someone who has physically examined you, and determined what you want to achieve depending on the ‘canvas’ to start with.
Hope that helps.
Trish
