Dr. Simeon Wall Jr. is an aesthetic plastic surgeon based in Shreveport, LA. He graduated as class valedictorian in high school in Louisiana. He took his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with honors. After this he pursued his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his combined General Surgery and Plastic Surgery internship and residency at Stanford University Medical Center’s plastic surgery program.
Dr. Simeon Wall together with his wife and other famous plastic surgeons in the United States trained extensively in the fields of microvascular surgery, cleft surgery, cranio-maxillofacial surgery, reconstructive surgery, and aesthetic surgery. Later on, he pursued his interest in aesthetic breast surgery, body contouring, facial rejuvenation, and nose reshaping surgery.
Dr. Wall Jr. is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is currently the President of the Louisiana Society of Plastic Surgeons, co-chair of the Teaching Course Committee for The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), Traveling Professor for The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), fellow of the American College of Surgeons, serves as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and as a Deputy Marshal for Bossier City, LA. Furthermore, he volunteers as a Medical Investigator for the parishes of Webster and Bossier.
What is SAFElipo?
SAFElipo is also called SAFElipo body contouring and SAFE liposuction. It represents a big improvement and innovation in regular liposuction procedures. Its uniqueness brings about significant changes with less to no tissue trauma, bruising, burns, fascia, dermis, discomfort, and other problems compared to other liposuction methods. SAFE stands for:
S – Separation of fat using “exploded tip” cannulas. This does not require suction. It instead emulsifies the fat that needs to be eliminated.
A – Aspiration (Fat aspiration with “Normal” cannula). This is a quick step after the separation of fat, and causes no bleeding.
FE – Fat Equalization using an “exploded” cannula. The process is to merge the augmented areas to the surrounding areas. Thus,resulting in a smooth and well contoured appearance.
