One of the industry’s leading device companies, High Tech Laser, have created an amazing, new innovative device for the latest PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) cosmetic treatment.

EmCyte is able to harness and enhance the body’s healing mechanisms and stimulate your tissue regeneration to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, restore skin volume, improve skin clarity and even out skin tones to give you a younger, refreshed appearance.

PRP concentrates the elements of your blood that triggers regeneration. It involves extracting your own blood, spinning it down to get rid of the red blood cells and concentrating the remaining plasma, platelets and other nutrients to creates a serum to be injected under the patient’s dermis skin level.

It is important to note that in order to deliver effective treatment results the concentration of platelets must reach around five to seven times the patient’s normal baseline levels. This concentration of platelets triggers the regenerative process giving the skin such glowing, impressive results that make your skin look like it’s had it’s age turned back a few years.

The reason why clinics are loving the EmCyte device is that is designed to produce high quality outcomes but it is a hygienic sealed system that is super easy for practitioners to process and inject the platelets in a single appointment, making it a convenient treatment for patients. Not only that, EmCyte has been recorded as achieving one of the purest samples of any PRP system with the lowest levels of red blood cells, which greatly improves the results for the patient.

The Procedure

Your clinician should evaluate and assess your skin with a skin analysis also possibly done. You may have a pre-treatment photo taken.

Before the treatment, the skin is cleansed, anaesthetic cream applied and blood is collected from the arm, which is placed into the test tube for centrifugation.

After preparation the PRP is then injected in a fanning technique into the areas discussed in your initial consultation with your practitioner.

Typically an initial course of three treatments spaced over 6 to 12 weeks is recommended. In order to counteract ongoing ageing of the skin a regular maintenance treatment every 6 to 12 months will assist to maintain results. Emcyte Pure-PRP® can be used as a stand alone treatment or in conjunction with other therapies such as Fractional Resurfacing, IPL, Skin Needling, and more.
