What if I told you there is a boob job that lasts for just 24 hours and takes only 20 minutes to complete? Well there is, and Hollywood Plastic Surgeons are getting very excited. But first let’s ask – is this the new push up bra? Is it the latest accessory for a night out on the town, or a little bit of false advertising for a special occasion?

Or is it just a kind of try before you buy deal? The ol’ take the brand new Benz around the block before purchasing the car kind of scenario? And I guess if that’s going to help women make the right decision about getting implants or not then it may just be a genius invention.

But before you throw out your push up bra these babies will set you back around $2,500 to $3,500.

New York Plastic Surgeon Dr Norman Rowe, who developed the 24-hour breast lift or what has been dubbed as “vacation breasts”, is in the midst of trying to develop a way in which they can last up to 2-3 weeks instead of just 24 hours. He is hoping they will be available to the general public in about 2 years time.

Dr Norman Rowe says if he works on the solution enough it may even be able to be used to enhance men’s pectoral or calf muscles.

So what exactly is this solution that makes up these 24-hour boobs? To put it simply it is a saline solution; but Dr. Rowe isn’t releasing the exact chemical makeup of the solution that will allow the saline-plus-additive to not only last but to stay in the right place.

Dr. Jennifer Ashton, ABC News’ Senior Medical Contributor in the United States told the ABC, “With this procedure, there is the risk of hitting a blood vessel with the injection (forming a hematoma) as well as a risk of infection; and the long-term risks, while they appear low, are unknown at this time.”

So although this sounds like an exciting development for those of us who might not want the permanency of a fully blown breast enhancement, perhaps don’t throw away those push up bras just yet!
