One of our favourite conferences is creeping closer – the National Laser and Cosmetic Medicine Conference (LCMC18) will be on at the Sofitel Brisbane from 3 – 4 November 2018. This super informative and fun conference has been running for 13 years (this is it’s 14th!) and is one of THE industry event to discover the latest in aesthetic medicine and techniques.

The conference brings together leaders in the aesthetics field and allows practitioners, doctors, surgeons, nurses and clinic personnel to ensure they are at the forefront of what’s happening in the industry. Trade exhibitions give attendees the chance to view and experience the latest devices, treatment and techniques.

High Tech Laser, Cryomed, Cutera, Stratpharma… all the leading non-surgical device companies will be there, along with some of Australia’s best injectors and medical practitioners to discuss topics such as PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), liposculpture, lasers (and how to choose the right one for a practitioner’s clinic), how to treat any number of a range of skin conditions, non-surgical blepharoplasty, fillers, fat transfer, threads and too much more to mention! Check out the full program here! There will be interactive panel discussions and a chance for attendees to ask any questions they might have.

There is also a range of theoretical and practical pre-conference workshops aimed at medical practitioners new to the field of cosmetic medicine to be held in the days leading up to the event. Visit the LCMC18 website to find out more about these.

Of course, one of my favourite parts of the conference is the networking opportunities, to catch up with industry experts as well as practitioners and clinics to find out what’s happening “on the ground” throughout the Australian industry. I love finding out who’s doing what, and what patients might have to look forward to, or what devices or treatments we might want to check out. The Saturday night dinner is always heaps of fun.

If you’re a practitioner or clinic and haven’t booked yet, I’d suggest you look into it pronto! Click here for more information or to register your spot.
