This week we look at the Ultraformer by Cryomed. It’s a popular non-invasive ultrasound waves based contouring and lifting treatment that concentrates on your soft tissues to stimulate tightening and strengthening for a more youthful appearance.

One of the best ways to find out if a treatment is right for you is to speak to other patients who have had the procedure. However, it’s not always easy to find someone in your immediate circle who might have had the treatment you’re considering. That’s where we come in. We track down other people just like you who’ve actually had a procedure so we can get the real story on the actual procedure and its results. We ask Rumi who had the procedure at ENRICH Clinic in Melbourne, Victoria about the Ultraformer treatment.

PSH: What areas did you have treated with the Ultraformer?

Rumi: Full face and neck.

PSH: What made you choose the Ultraformer over other devices or treatments?

Rumi: It was recommended by the Nurse at ENRICH Clinic. But I had already heard about the Ultrasound technology for a while. It was very popular in Asia.

PSH: Have you ever had any other non-surgical beauty treatments?

Rumi: Never.

PSH: How did the treatment go? Was it as you expected?

Rumi: I was briefed by the nurse with all kinds of expectations before having the procedure. So I found it was alright.

PSH: Was the treatment painful? What steps did the practitioner take to reduce any pain?

Rumi: It was painful when the passes went through to my jawline area. But because the nurse has told me already, I wasn’t surprised nor felt uncomfortable with it.

In addition, the nurse has warned me to take a painkiller beforehand, so I had adequate precaution prior to the procedure.

PSH: Was there any after-effects of the treatment, ie. swelling, redness, etc.?

Rumi: Yes I did have swelling, redness and a little bit of bruising for 2 days after procedure. But it was all good after 1 week.

PSH: Have you noticed any results from the Ultraformer treatment?

Rumi: Yes can see my face has sculpted and I could finally see my jawline again.

PSH: Would you have the Ultraformer treatment again?

Rumi: Yes I have already booked my next treatment indeed! I want to have further enhancement particularly on my mid-face.

PSH: Is there anything you’d like to tell other consumers about the Ultraformer treatment, or anything you think they need to know about it?

Rumi: I guess having adequate information before the procedure is important. The nurses at ENRICH are very professional and detailed minded. They have given me lots of information pre, during and post procedure. So once you have decided to have a procedure done, it is important to find an experienced and trusted practice to go for.
