To put it simply, anti-wrinkle injections are a safe and affordable way of erasing frown lines, smile lines around the eyes, lines on the forehead or chin, or soften the jaw line or you can even lift and drop the eyebrows.

There are two main types of anti-wrinkle injections available in Australia: Botulinum Toxin and dermal fillers. Botulinum Toxin is commonly known as Botox. But it is important to know that Botox is just a brand. Botox is very similar to another main brand in Australia and that’s Dysport. We haven’t promoted another brand that will be released in Australia late this year and we’ll definitely get you updated with it.

Botulinum Toxin works to relax the target muscles. This means those muscles won’t move much. So you know when you see someone smiling or frowning and you don’t see the natural movement in the forehead, it usually means it’s a Botulinum Toxin injection.

Now the other anti-wrinkle injection available is dermal fillers. Dermal fillers are a gel made from Hyaluronic Acid base. This Hyaluronic Acid is actually found in the human body so it’s a natural substance. This is used to fill wrinkles or deep scars. It can also be used to enhance the lips, reconstruct the nose and the chin, even structure the jaw line, and is actually used in non-surgical rhinoplasty.
