So it was about 6 weeks ago that I had my unique experience at Amy Jean Eye Couture on the Gold Coast at Palazzo Versace with the amazing Monique – the feather touch brow tattoo. Anyone who knows me will know that I’m easily excitable and quite passionate about all things beauty, so it’s no surprise that I was absolutely thrilled at the results.

If feather touch brow tattooing is something that you’ve thought about and considered – I say go for it! I think the eyebrows frame the face, and it’s great to have a nice shapely set – and it seems to be the height of fashion at the moment too (kind of a Kardashian-ism). Gone are the days of my teen years when we plucked them to within an inch of their lives – one thin curved line of eyebrow hair (anyone else remember the 70’s LOL).

So, I went back to see Monique for my 6 week “touch up” (aka check up after tattoo). Straight back to the office, onto the mac, and I’m so ready to tell you all about it. Feather touch brow tattooing is IN, and if you want to get it done by the best, I’d definitely recommend going to any of Amy Jean’s salons. You might remember in my last blog about Amy Jean I mentioned Amy Jean does all the celebs (she’s known as the “Arch Angel to the Stars”) – well, there’s a reason for that. Even if you don’t see Amy Jean herself, she very closely hand picks all her brow artists and ensures they are the best in the business. Monique has been with her since her humble beginnings in Broadbeach Gold Coast. Now there’s an Amy Jean Eye Couture Salons in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, with another 4 pop-up salons in exclusive locations in New York, Paris, Milan and Los Angeles.

What About My Lash Lift to go with it?!

So, because Amy Jean and her team are the master of eyes, I decided to really indulge and get a lash lift. I just want to say, if you’ve never had a lash lift, you’ve GOT to give it a go. It’s a “must-do” if you want your natural lashes to ‘pop’ – they stand out and I’m completely converted. I’m hooked – brows and now lashes!

Can you tell I’m a little obsessed lol?

Yes I’m obsessed. I’ve stopped wearing eyeliner (I know right! It’s been about 20 years since I walked out the door without eyeliner). New regime – concealer, BB suncream, lipgloss, out the door. Thanks Monique and thanks Amy Jean, for giving me the glam brows I just love, and making me feel as though I have the best brows and lashes around! You guys rock and I hope everyone finds their way to your indulgent, beautiful and classy rooms.
