The average session lasts around 20 minutes from start to finish and it is recommended you have at least 2 treatments for best results. With significantly shorter and faster laser pulses, PICO Genesis has greatly reduced any risk of thermal damage to surrounding tissue – an adverse side effect commonly experienced with other lasers. It also has minimal to no downtime, although in some more aggressive cases there may be slight swelling or flaking.
